Job Profile

The HRIS Analyst is responsible for establishing financial projections in the Human Resources Department in the short and long term and supporting strategic decision making. The ideal candidate will be the tech-savvy backbone of HR operations, bridging the gap between human resources and technology.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with Senior Leadership, HR Business Partners, HR colleagues in other functional areas and fellow analytics team members to identify key workforce issues impacting the business.
  • Serve as liaison to Finance Department including but not limited to: Assisting with period closing inquiries, cash clearing allocations, document, and report production.
  • Assist with department annual budget preparation and monthly review/reporting.
  • Participate in HR analytics projects to investigate potential measures, correlations, and causality connections for critical business issues
  • Provide accounting coding for all department invoices to Finance Department.
  • Prediction and trend analysis to anticipate the changes in the business, and to enable better decision making.
  • Create and maintain monthly and quarterly workforce dashboards. Develop processes to streamline the compilation of periodic reporting/analysis.
  • Create advanced models in excel to combine data sources and steer business decisions.
  • Provide reporting and analysis, including financial reconciliations for payroll and finance.
  • Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators.
  • Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing the causes of unexpected variations.
  • Evaluate data related financial reconciliation and budget requirements.
  • Carry out profitability analysis of new opportunities in the human capital and develop financial models and analysis to support the strategic initiatives in evaluation of compensation plans, benefits and company-wide changes or initiatives
  • Prepare operational or risk reports for the analysis of the executive management to include data processing - coding - posting - reporting - reconciliation - compliance - auditing. Must interact with different users' internal and external requesting information.
  • Translates and complex data and information in a clear and concise manner. Communicates HCM (Human Capital Management) data trends to executive audiences.
  • Provide a new perspective to identify and propose opportunities for improvement in business processes and functions.
  • Prepares and presents recommendations for improved efficiency based on data from comprehensive HR reports and recommends policy changes and/or major variations from established policy, which must be approved by appropriate leadership prior to implementation.
  • Responds to various inquiries regarding HR and Payroll data.
  • Assists with Special Projects to collect and analyze data on various unit operations using quantitative analysis, and other research techniques.

HRIS Duties

  • Performs system maintenance, including assisting in the review, testing, and implementation of HRIS system upgrades or patches. Maintains system tables.
  • Performs monthly data reviews and scrubs to ensure accurate reporting capabilities and data integrity.
  • Perform general HRIS administration and user support including, but not limited to, setup of new users, change of access requests, basic troubleshooting, and demonstrations of system functionality.
  • Provides production support, including researching and resolving HRIS problems, unexpected results, or process flaws; performing scheduled activities; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
  • Generates reports/queries, including writing, maintaining, and supporting a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools. Assists in development of standard reports for ongoing department needs. Helps maintain data integrity in systems by Running queries and analyzing data.
  • Conducts training, including developing user procedures, guidelines, and documentation. Trains departments on new processes/functionality.
  • Recommends process improvements, ADP modules and innovative solutions. policy changes and/or major variations from established policy, which must be approved by appropriate leadership prior to implementation.

Required education and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field
  • Over 4+ years’ experience working in similar role
  • Microsoft Suite; advance user of Excel
  • Experience with cross system integrations and workflows
  • Previous experience implementing, modifying, and working with ADP Workforce Now platform and other HRIS systems
    • For example: SuccessFactors by SAP
