Job Profile

Business Operations Analyst Opportunity with Vista America – Utilize your advanced proficiency with Excel and data visualization tools to support the optimization of our business operations through data analysis, process improvement and project management. This position is based in Columbus, Ohio and reports to the Vista America President.

Responsibilities as a Business Operations Analyst on the Vista America team:

Data Analysis, Operational Process Optimization, and Reporting

  • Develop, maintain, audit, and provide regular reports and dashboards to communicate key performance indicators and operational insights to senior management
  • Prepare regular reports on operational efficiency and cost management
  • Analyze operational data and processes to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy
  • Ensure that operational systems are being used effectively to support decision-making and data reporting
  • Present actionable insights to management
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various departments to identify trends and opportunities
  • Monitor and manage operational workflows to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives
  • Map and analyze current business processes, identifying inefficiencies and areas where automation or optimization can be applied

Gathering, Collaboration, and Knowledge Sharing

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their needs, goals, and challenges
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather and document business requirements, translating them into clear and actionable specifications
  • Ensure seamless communication and effective execution of business operations
  • Communicate findings, recommendations, and progress to senior management and other key stakeholders to enhance business performance, operational efficiency, and cost-effectiveness
  • Act as a liaison between departments to ensure solutions meet business objectives

 Required education and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Aviation, Logistics, or a related field
  • 2-5 years of experience in business operations, process improvement, and/or analytics
  • Strong experience in data analysis, process improvement, and project management
  • Advance proficiency in Excel, including familiarity writing Macros, and data visualizations tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Aviation industry experience and understanding of regulations and standards
