Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the avionics team to ensure timely and efficient completion of diverse, nose-to-tail repair tasks.
- Serve as the liaison between the avionics team and management, communicating project goals and timelines clearly.
- Troubleshoot, repair, test, remove, and install avionics and instrument systems, applying your advanced technical skills to solve complex issues.
- Conduct in-process and final inspections as an Authorized Inspector, approving return-to-service work.
- Maintain accurate documentation of completed work, including maintenance logs and compliance records.
- Mentor junior technicians by providing on-the-job training and fostering skill development across the team.
- Collaborate with other departments to manage workflow and meet return-to-service deadlines.
- Maintain avionics test equipment and enforce safety and organization standards in the workspace.
- Support continuous team improvement through performance monitoring, feedback, and coaching.
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and collaboration within the team.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; A&P License preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of avionics experience in a Part 145 environment; Part 135 experience is a plus.
- Proven leadership experience in mentoring or supervising teams.
- Advanced hands-on experience with Gulfstream and Bombardier aircraft.
- In-depth knowledge of maintenance manuals, parts catalogs, and maintenance tracking programs (CMP and CAMP preferred).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. routinely and occasionally up to 75 lbs.
- Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights above four feet.
- Capable of performing physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing.
- Tolerate extreme temperatures and noisy environments.
- Ability to read small print and identify colors.

The salary range for this position is $40-$65 per hour.
