Vice President of Maintenance Control Center is available onsite in Columbus, OH. The VP of MCC at JETSELECT holds a pivotal role in providing maintenance support services to the Operations Control Center (OCC). Reporting directly to the Director of Maintenance (DOM), the VP of MCC is responsible through his/her team members for managing the resolution of daily unscheduled maintenance events, coordinating various maintenance activities, and ensuring timely return to service for aircraft. This position requires effective communication, collaboration, and oversight of a 24/7/365 technical staff schedule to support the aircraft schedule.

General Responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for maintenance services to the Operations Control Center (“OCC”) by:
- acting as the primary focal for all technical and maintenance issues reported by the flight crews and vendors,
- coordinates MEL, NEF, deferred items and CDL events,
- ensures return to service is performed in accordance with written procedures for all maintenance activities managed by MCC,
- Liaises with Engineering, MROs, Suppliers and OEMs, as applicable to troubleshoot/resolve complex aircraft defects and repairs.
- Manages a 24/7/365 technical staff schedule to meet the needs of the aircraft schedule.
- Develops the standards, metrics, and procedures to measure effectiveness of the MOC team.
- Develops minimum training standards that meet the requirements established by the DOM and for ensuring department staff are trained to those standards.
- Ensures the MOC Department functions in an effective and efficient manner.

- In depth knowledge of aircraft regulations.
- Deep understanding of aircraft structures, engines and systems including damage assessment.
- Demonstrated leadership in creating a highly effective MOC Team with an efficient department structure; defining and implementing effective processes; and selecting and mentoring staff to create a highly successful organization.
- Possess a solid understanding of the following with respect to the certificate holder's operation:
- Aviation safety standards and safe operating practices
- 14 CFR Chapter I (Federal Aviation Regulations)
- The certificate holder's operations specifications and manuals required by 135.21
- All appropriate maintenance and airworthiness requirements including Parts 1, 21, 43, 91, 135 and 145 applicable to the position
- Possess a fundamental understanding of aircraft maintenance and operations.
- Holds an A&P license with type training on one or more of the aircraft types in the operation and has extensive experience in a similar position.
- Minimum five years in leadership role is required.
