USA based - Facility Maintenance Manager, Wisconsin

The Facility Maintenance Manager position is in Bay City, WI and is responsible for repairing and maintaining grounds equipment (electrical, plumbing, and mechanical), or coordinating repair processes. The Facility Maintenance Manager also establishes and maintains records for preventive and corrective maintenance on major equipment, builds and installs accessories to support the repair station facility needs. The position schedule will be Monday thru Friday 7 am – 3:30 pm.

Facility Maintenance Manager Responsibilities:

• Supervising employee outcomes by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, and disciplining employees.
• Ensuring efficient and effective flows of communication of job expectations, planning, monitoring, and appraising job contributions, recommending compensation actions, and adhering to policies and procedures.
• Communicates with the Accountable Manager to establish priorities based on daily expectations.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of utilities and repairs is strongly preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in HVAC, electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Skill in communications, pleasant and polite to all co-workers and supervision.
• Ability to use shop equipment (brake, drill press, etc.).
• Caring attitude, pride in your work and the plant.
• Self-motivated and hard-working.
• Has a basic understanding of facility utilities and maintenance.
• Maintain company ground equipment.
• Occasional facility cleaning and custodial duties.
• Snow removal and outside upkeep required for inclement weather.

Facility Maintenance Manager Qualifications:

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a facility maintenance manager position.
• Must have at least 2-year minimum experience in production field.
• Basic commercial experience/training is a plus.

The compensation range for this position is $25 to $30 per hour depending upon experience.
